Now that the American Idol finale is done and dusted, Scotty McCreery and Lauren Alaina can look ahead to the financial windfall that follows.
Winner McCreery will pocket a cool $250,000 advance for coming out as the winner of the show and making an album.
As well as that, he will pick up extra earnings from granting likeness, merchandise and endorsement rights as well as any royalties he may receive.
