Its premiere is less than two weeks away, and the pilot episode for NBC’s highly-anticipated “Smash” has hit the web.
Starring “American Idol” alum Katharine McPhee, the much-talked-about musical series is produced by iconic director Steven Spielberg.
The show surrounds McPhee’s character, Karen Cartwright, who is trying to live her dream of becoming an actress in New York City.
With A-listers like Debra Messing and Anjelica Huston included in the cast and Spielberg at the helm, the series certainly has a shot at prime-time success.
